Communicating with Nature

Communicating with Nature

The Earth needs prayer. The prayers of those individuals who are able to talk with nature. You have this ability.

When out in nature, we find the wonderment of creation. Where is life leading us now? When we remain curious to what can be, we expand our awareness to include nature. Can you feel it?

Do you have flowers in your home? If so, get them, and place them in front of you. Do they have a smell? Note the intricacies of the petals, stamen and leaves.

Take a moment to stare at the flowers. Become fully aware of your breath, while relaxing your body. Thank the flower. You may offer gratitude for its beauty, its time with you and the peace it provides. Ask it permission to talk with you.

Talking with flowers? Really? Is this even possible?

The time has come for greater awareness to nature and what it provides. Plants, especially trees are able to help us to clear our negative energy.

Animals, plants and trees remind us to not take life as seriously. We laugh easily in response to our pets. We delight when we see birds, frogs, chipmunks in the wild. Too many of us ignore the natural beauty that nature offers.

Trees offer a place to rest, a chance to get out of the sun. When we can see wonderment in nature, we can be one with it.

One with nature?

We are made from the same energy of all that is. The trees, ocean, grass are all made from the same energy and material that you are.

  1. Knowing that you can talk with the ocean, trees, plants is the first step in your communication with them.
  2. Offer thanks.
  3. Ask permission for its guidance.
  4. Ask a question.

I’ve found that the ocean, the trees and flowers don’t offer the same message. Flowers laugh and want to spread their joy. Older trees are easier to communicate with. Maybe they’ve been around longer!

Dog’s Joy

Have you ever really looked at a dog on a walk? The sheer bliss they feel seems almost overwhelming. I wish I could send that feeling to everyone in the world. Maybe we can send that joy.

Why is the dog so happy? So many scents and places to explore. Getting exercise and fresh air is just what the brain needs!

Where Do We Go From Here?

When we listen to what nature has to say, it can open new worlds of exploration.

Time yields and shows us a path to which we can follow should we desire. Much is left for us to decide in how to spend our days. In anger and fear? Or the path that nature is encouraging: joy and delight?
